Salary: £42,000 per annum + Overtime
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 am 16:30 pm (40 hours per week)

About the role
Role Overview:
This role will be responsible for managing and delivering small works projects including new small works projects up to the value of £25,000.
The role focuses on planning, supervising, and completing new small works and remedial-generated projects safely, compliantly and to program in line with EMCOR procedures.
The post-holder will have a working knowledge of CDM regulations and will undertakes internal and site-specific training including SMSTS.
What you'll do:
1. Carry out surveys, define scope and provide quotations
2. Preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
3. Procure labour / materials and sub-contractors in accordance with EMCOR UK buying procedures ensuring waste and costs are minimised.
4. Prepare and review RAMS, ensuring they are proportionate and suitable for the task.
5. Management and close supervision of EMCOR UK Staff and sub-contractors ensuring compliance with Health and safety legislation, CDM regulations (proportionate to the size) and EMCOR and client procedures.
6. Knowledgeable and up to date in matters relating to Health and Safety and statutory requirements including CDM Regulations and always ensure compliance.
7. Maintain accurate project administration files and costs (financial records).
8. Attend internal meetings as required
9. Support testing, commissioning, handover, and close out of works
10. Provide operational support to the wider contract where required
11. Maintain accurate projects records, including job files, permits and completion of documentation.
Who you'll be:
12. Electrical biased with Level 3 qualifications to include 18th edition, NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) AM2
13. Proven experience supervising small works or similar projects
14. Strong organisational and communication skills
15. IT literate with experience using word, spreadsheets and Microsoft office
16. Full UK Driving licence
17. Willingness to undertake internal and site specific training .
18. Experience working within CDM-regulated environments
19. SMSTS (Desirable)
20. Electrical Testing and inspection qualification (Desirable)
