What will you be doing?
* Supporting the Veolia Energy & Water Northern Business Unit commercially
* Managing the commercial control of contracts, bids, letters, and processes
* Identifying risks, liabilities, and commitments within contracts
* Supporting operational teams to recognize, analyze, and mitigate risks with solutions
* Developing innovative solutions to commercial challenges
* Estimating and implementing effective cost and value control measures
* Collaborating with procurement to structure supply chain contracts appropriately
* Recognizing and developing new business opportunities
* Ensuring compliance with all HSEQ and statutory regulations with the site team’s assistance
* Providing management reports to senior leadership as needed
What are we looking for?
* Ability to manage multiple contracts, negotiations, and stakeholder relationships (internal and external)
* Experience with projects/operations and commercial aspects of contracts, preferably in energy and water sectors but not essential
* Experience working for a main contractor, preferably in energy and water sectors but not essential
* Good business acumen
* Knowledge of various contract forms
* Relevant degree and/or experience in commercial/contract management, quantity surveying, or engineering
