Job Summary
This role ensures timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials while optimising inventory and supply plans to meet business objectives. They drive supplier performance, improve planning processes, and collaborate across teams to enhance supply chain efficiency and support the company’s targets
Duties and Responsibilities
Collect, analyse, and interpret supply chain data related to inventory, purchasing and supplier performance.
Monitor and report on key supply chain metrics (., on-time delivery, inventory turnover, stockout risks, lead time adherence).
Develop dashboards and reports to track and communicate supply chain performance to internal stakeholders.
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of S&OP processes by providing data on material availability, demand fluctuations, and supply constraints.
Conduct root cause analysis on shortages, overstock, and delivery issues, and assist in corrective action planning.
Collaborate with Planning, Purchasing, Stores, and Production teams to identify process bottlenecks and recommend optimisations.
Maintain data accuracy in the ERP and planning tools, ensuring clean inputs for accurate output reporting.
Assist in forecasting, scenario planning, and capacity assessments.
Support strategic projects such as inventory optimisation, sourcing process transformation, and reporting system development.

Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, lookups, charts) and data visualisation tools (., Power BI, Tableau).
Experience working with ERP systems (., NAV, IFS, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
Effective communication skills—able to explain findings clearly and work cross-functionally.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Experience and Qualification
Educated to high school level with 2 A levels (or equivalent) / University degree level
Experience in a similar role.
Understanding of supply chain principles, including procurement, inventory control, and logistics.
Experience with planning tools, forecasting methods, or demand/supply balancing is an advantage.
