The workload throughout the department is very varied and interesting, with no two days being the same. The successful candidate must be dynamic, possess excellent communication skills, and have a high sense of professionalism and a strong belief in the value of teamwork. As a newly merged trust, we offer rotation between sites across the division.
As a Band 6 Nurse, you will be offered a comprehensive development package including a period of supernumerary, training, and education. You will have access to the departmental education team and have the opportunity to develop and progress your career as you work towards the RCN Competencies. We will develop your skills to ensure that you work to the highest standards to triage patients safely and stream them to various agencies.
You will have the opportunity to work in all areas of the Emergency Department.
