Hays Senior Finance are partnering with a fast-paced and dynamic organisation in the Worcester area as they look to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. My client is a rapidly growing online retail business going from strength-to-strength and seen as a leading label for the youth market.
Your new role
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for controlling the day-to-day financial operations of specific entities whilst managing a team.
Key duties:
1. Preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts
2. Review of individualpany management accounts
3. Assist in the production of monthly and annual financial reporting requirements
4. Review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis across all entities
5. Submission of VAT and overseas sales tax returns
6. Management of a small team
7. Involvement in the improvement of processes and efficiencies
What you'll need to succeed
8. Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE
9. Demonstrable experience of providing hands-on, day-to-day financial management and support
10. Possess a 'sleeves rolled up' approach with the ability to get stuck in
11. High attention to detail and able to co-ordinate substantial amounts of information
12. Excellentmunication skills with the confidence to build and maintain effective relationships with non-finance stakeholders
13. Experience of managing and developing teams
14. Strong Excel skills and good working knowledge of accounting software (Oracle NetSuite highly advantageous)
