Job Description
My client is looking for a proactive and commercially minded logistics professional with an understanding of the ecommerce and/or retail sector.
The role may suit somebody with either experience managing a customer on behalf of a 3pl or somebody within retail or ecommerce working within logistics and supply chain .
What you’ll be doing
* Owning a vital and high profile ecommerce account balancing commercial targets with excellent service delivery
* Keeping a close eye on performance metrics, service levels, and client feedback
* Leading regular account reviews and client meetings to showcase progress and plan next steps
* Spotting opportunities to grow accounts and introduce new solutions
* Proactively managing risks, issues, and escalations within the business
Skills & Experience Needed:
* Experience in the logistics/supply chain sector with an understanding of cost/profitability
* Good knowledge of warehousing operations and associated charges
* Commercially savvy with a strategic mindset to relationship management
* Confident communicator who can engage with customer, operational teams, and senior stakeholders
* Successful candidate must be able to work in Birmingham at least once per week
