Job Description
3. Review Cash Debtors and customer deposits ensuring departments are keeping to a minimum
4. Review credit control disputes assigned to managers ensuring they are resolved within an acceptable timescale
5. Ensure banking procedures comply with Company policies
6. Site specific balance sheet account maintenance and reconciliation
7. Review and accrue OEM bonuses to be accrued (income)
8. Review and accrue stock obsolescence provisions
9. Review and accrue payroll accruals - commissions, overtime, bonuses
10. Review signed off stock reports
11. Review stock take results
12. Review VAT exception analyses and give clear instructions relevant to any corrections
13. Local Accruals & Prepayments
14. Prepare monthly accounts, year end and trends to meet required deadlines
15. Prepare and review management accounts variance analysis with General Manager and Line Managers
16. Prepare annual budget and periodic forecasts (3+9 etc) to agreed deadlines and parameters.
17. Prepare and submit Manufacturer Composite

The Successful Applicant
Qualified or QBE accountant, preferably with Motor trade experience, looking for a route into a growing dealership
