At Community First Yorkshire, we are delivering an ambitious project, the North Yorkshire Energy Collective, funded by York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority. We’re looking for a Community Energy Officer to lead this exciting initiative, helping community buildings on their journey to carbon neutrality and inspiring local energy projects that make a real difference. What you’ll be doing In this impactful, community-focused role, you’ll help village halls and community buildings cut carbon, explore community energy opportunities, and build confidence through friendly events, training and practical guidance. You’ll offer tailored support on funding and energy saving measures, bring partners together for projects like a countywide Climathon, and help shape a new Community Energy Cooperative for North Yorkshire.
