Our client is seeking a dedicated professional plumber to deliver high-quality repair and maintenance services that support their mission of providing safe and affordable homes.
Key responsibilities and oues include but are not limited to:
1. Deliver high standards of work, relevant joinery
2. Carry out secondary trade activities (Multi) within acceptable quality standards to support KPIs for a first time fix, such as Plastering, basic carpentry etc…
3. Provide outstanding customer service and contribute to achieving operational performance targets.
4. Accurately record and report operational activities followingpany and legislative procedures.
5. Assess risks before work and follow strict Health and Safety measures to protect yourself, customers, and colleagues.
6. Maintain the condition and appearance of thepany vehicle to meet regulatory andpany standards.
7. Keep accurate van stock records to ensure materials are well-stocked.
8. Ensure all tools, equipment, and plant machinery are maintained, certificated, and defects reported promptly.
9. Follow safeguarding procedures carefully, identifying and reporting any concerns related to customer safety.

10. Consistently delivers high-quality services aligned with customer service standards.
11. Accurate and timely reporting of near misses and RIDDOR accidents.
12. Meeting or exceeding KPIs for first-time fix repairs.
13. Achieving key performance and productivity goals.
14. Increased customer satisfaction through reliable and professional service delivery.
15. Effective collaboration with colleagues and external partners to resolve operational challenges.
16. Proper identification, documentation, and referral of safeguarding concerns to Tenancy Enforcement.
This role is mobile within Swindon and the surrounding area. The ideal candidate must live within 20 miles of Swindon.
Hours: Full-time: Mon-Thurs: / on call 1 in 5.
Salary: £36,838 per annum / plus out of hours rota: £525 per week when on call
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate must hold an NVQ Level 2 (City& Guilds) in Plumbing and have at least 2 years' experience in this trade. The ideal candidate will have experience in another trade such as basic carpentry, painting etc…All candidates are subject to full referencing and a Basic DBS if successful.

17. Confidently demonstratepetency within the plumbing trade
18. Strongmunication – code of conduct and excellent customer service experience
19. Hold various multi-trade skills and experience, sufficient toplete repairs, first time fix
20. Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
21. Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate organisational and time-management skills
22. Ability to make decisions and solve problems, seeking any advice required.
23. Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines
24. Ability to operate safely having taken into account any environmental circumstances and possible risks.

25. Experience of working within the social housing sector
