Role Overview:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing project costs, providing technical support, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Your expertise will be crucial in cost estimation, budgeting, and project financial oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse sub-contractor and vendor quotations, ensuring all inclusions and exclusions are clearly identified. Provide detailed cost estimates for complex projects.
Prepare initial account reports to set up project budgets and financial frameworks. Ensure accurate financial planning from project inception.
Prepare and manage final accounts for completed projects, ensuring all financial aspects are settled and documented accurately.
Oversee and manage variations, ensuring that all changes to the project scope are accurately reflected and financially accounted for.
Monitor and manage project profit and loss, ensuring that all financial targets are met and cost control measures are in place.
Requirements:
Must have valid working rights in the UK.
Bachelor’s degree in Telecom, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience within the construction and telecom industry.
Strong communicator with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
Capable of operating effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Proficient in managing teams to achieve optimum performance.
Detail-oriented with demonstrated organisational abilities.
