The post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based nursing care, working collaboratively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
Assist in managing and organizing their clinical area and participate in the education, development, and supervision of staff members.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Nursing Team at Dolgellau Hospital, a small community hospital with a GP-led inpatient ward, outpatient department, and Minor Injuries Unit.
All ward nursing staff are expected to stay updated with new initiatives and interventions. The team is supported to complete mandatory training and relevant courses. Staff are encouraged to develop extended skills such as phlebotomy.
Staff will receive an induction program, support through staff meetings, and personal development reviews. This role offers an opportunity to develop professionally, gain specialist knowledge, and work with a dynamic, friendly team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally encouraged to apply.
