The role exists within an integrated Community Programme consisting of a furniture retail outlet and two charity shops and forms a large part of the missional outreach of the Corps (Church). Key Responsibilities: As General Assistant/Van Driver you will assist in the collection and delivery of donated furniture and goods for the furniture project and assist in the retail outlet. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Driving of the designated company vehicle and handling of heavy goods will be required Full clean UK driving license and experience of driving a van Make and receive telephone calls regarding sales/collections Experience of collecting and delivering large goods, and working in a warehouse and/or retail environment Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation Good communication and interpersonal skills dealing with members of the public Basic PC skills Serve customers and promote sales in both shops In order to complete your application please download and read the job profile and any other attachments.
