The Sales Administrator Role
The Sales Administrator is a key part of what we do, providing the crucial ‘bridge’ between our customers and our internal purchasing, logistics, and external field sales teams. This fast-paced, multi-faceted role involves handling inbound customer enquiries and processing sales orders. Additionally, you will assist external sales executives and generate outbound activity to develop customer spend and identify new opportunities. This position is wholly office-based and focused on customer engagement, emphasizing understanding customer needs to ensure opportunities are realized and first-class service is provided at all times. We are hiring on a full-time basis, working Monday to Friday.
Sales Administrator Key Duties
* Managing and developing a portfolio of existing accounts, maintaining profitability
* Dealing with incoming customer queries and providing advice & solutions
* Undertaking outbound activity to identify and target new customers
* Supporting the external sales team
* Administering sales orders/quotations, ensuring delivery dates are met
* Using internal CRM system regularly
* Liaising with internal departments such as logistics and procurement
