Are you a Head of Corporate Development looking for your next move, or an experienced M&A, Corporate Finance or Investment Banking professional ready to lead Group-wide strategic growth? This Head of Corporate Development role sits at the centre of Dawsongroup and will lead acquisitions, investment appraisal and strategic transaction activity across all Business Units.
* Lead the evaluation, appraisal and governance of strategic investments, acquisitions and wider growth opportunities across Dawsongroup
* Own complex financial modelling, valuation work, underwriting and transaction analysis for Board and shareholder-level decision making
* Support live M&A and financing activity, including diligence, negotiations, adviser management and investment papers
* Bring rigour, pace and consistency to how opportunities are assessed, prioritised and presented across the business
About You
You will bring credible experience from M&A, banking, corporate finance, lead advisory or a similarly high calibre transaction environment, along with the judgement to operate confidently at senior level. We are looking for someone who combines analytical strength with commercial instinct, discretion and the presence to influence important decisions across a complex Group business.
* Strong background in mergers and acquisitions, banking, transaction services, corporate development or strategic finance
* Excellent financial modelling, valuation and investment appraisal capability, with the ability to turn complex analysis into clear recommendations
* Comfortable working across acquisitions, funding activity, commercial diligence and board-level presentations
* Strong communication skills, with the credibility to challenge constructively and build trust at executive level
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar financial qualification would be valuable, but depth of deal and commercial finance experience matters most
