Position Overview
This is a 1-Year Fixed Term Contract
The Senior Financial Analyst within the Ralph Lauren Financial Planning & Analysis team will support the finance department in month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop financial expertise, gain exposure to our finance operations, and understand industry issues affecting Ralph Lauren.
* Support month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting for wholesale expenses, focusing on staff-related costs such as salaries, bonuses, social taxes, employee benefits, agency fees, recruitment, vacation accruals, and travel expenses.
* Analyze expense and cost trends monthly, providing insights and recommendations to identify savings and opportunities.
* Ensure accuracy of accounting entries during month-end close, analyze variances, and make necessary adjustments.
* Calculate monthly bonus accruals and prepare related journal entries.
* Lead calls with P&D partners and regional managers to forecast staff-related expenses by headcount.
* Act as the primary finance contact for staff-related expense topics.
* Ensure workflow approvals for staff-related requests are followed.
* Manage bonus trackers and calculation schemes in coordination with regional management and P&D teams.
* Prepare regional reports such as T&E expense trackers, analyze run rates versus budget, and identify overspend or savings areas.
* Continuously improve processes, controls, and deliverable quality.
* Perform ad hoc requests and participate in special projects as needed.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
* Previous experience in FP&A or Business Controlling is mandatory.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication skills and a forward-thinking team player capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
* Ability to establish strong business partnerships and collaborate effectively.
