A Quality Inspector opportunity has become available within a well-established UK engineering manufacturer operating from a modern production facility in the Redditch area. Working within a precision engineering environment involving complex mechanical assemblies, this role would suit an experienced Quality Inspector or Quality Technician, or a quality-focused production professional looking to move into a more technical inspection position. Quality Inspector responsibilities include -
1. Inspecting mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies and finished products.
2. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and supporting documentation.
3. Auditing products, people and processes to ensure compliance with standards.
4. Containing non-conforming material and supporting corrective actions.
5. Producing inspection records, certification documentation and quality KPIs.
6. Supporting calibration activities and continuous improvement within a lean manufacturing environment.
