Duties and responsibilities related totheCommisPastryrole
Assist in preparing and baking breads, pastries, cakes, and other items.
Accurately measure and prepare ingredients as per recipes and schedules.
Support doughs, batters, fillings, and shaping under supervision.
Operate mixers, ovens, and other bakery equipment safely.
Maintain cleanliness and follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
Monitor ingredient quality and freshness.
Support proper storage, labeling, and stock rotation.
Report low inventory or equipment issues.
Work cooperatively with the team to ensure smooth operations.
Eagerly learn from senior chefs and respond well to feedback.
About you
As a Commis Pastry, you will play a key supporting role in the daily production of high-quality baked goods, assisting senior pastry chefs and bakers in preparing a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts.
This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about baking, eager to learn, and committed to upholding the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and teamwork in a fast-paced bakery environment.
