We’re looking for a Human Resources generalist who has experience of core activities like discipline / grievances, absence & performance management, as well as supporting business growth through broader activities such as colleague engagement and supporting managers. Ideally you can bring a range of practical tools and frameworks to help managers build capability within their teams. You’ll have a commercial mindset combined with a coaching style, enabling you to build strong relationships with your assigned business areas. Using both management information and your emotional intelligence, you’ll confidently influence, guide and support the business to deliver against our growth ambitions. This role would suit a wide range of HR or L&D professionals, either someone ready for their next step up or someone ready to hone the skills they’ve already developed. You’ll be a key part of the HR team, working with world-class scientists across a range of fields, working on anything from moon dust to microbiology – you’ll be hard pressed to find this breadth of activities in any other organisation. Ideally, you’ll have CIPD level 5 or equivalent experience and a science or business degree would be advantageous.
