Job: Project Controls Specialist

Hourly Rate: £20 PAYE or £26.76 Umbrella
Location: Barrow-in-Furness - twice per week
Contract: 12 months (Opportunity to be extended)
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
About the Role:
* The individual in this role will operate one or more of the PM&C processes on a project, or be responsible for some aspects of PM&C processes or supporting more senior staff on a larger project.
* At this level, the incumbent will work independently on routine aspects of the activity, usually under guidance and supervision in more complex situations. They are unlikely to supervise other staff directly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform non-complex project reporting and scheduling.
* Resolve basic and routine queries.
* Develop knowledge of business processes and procedures.
* Utilize administration and general office skills, including spreadsheets and Microsoft Office packages.
* Attend on-the-job training as appropriate.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Apply problem-solving techniques in an existing business environment.
* Understand team structure, organization, and project processes to support implementation of PM&C approaches.
* Support routine or moderately complex problem-solving under supervision.
* Gather information and support the development and implementation of solutions.
* Adopt best practices.
* Apply related PM competencies; no prior PM qualification required at this level.
* Expected to pursue a PM qualification such as the APM Fundamentals Qualification or higher.
