Job Description
Role Definition: Configuration, support, repair and monitoring of IT systems across all departments in a very fast-paced and demanding environment.
Responsibilities:
* Support of the IT infrastructure and ensure that the site has in place a secure and resilient infrastructure.
* Monitoring of Backup, Antivirus and Windows update systems.
* Microsoft 365 administration and support.
* Management of server room security and environmental.
* Contribute to developing and testing disaster recovery plans in line with business policy.
* Prioritise and follow up support calls within the manufacturing environment.
* Communicate with all levels of the business both operational and managerial.
* Maintain a list of issues and ensure that they are managed and cleared in a timely manner using our internal service desk for traceability.
* Be the IT support contact for individuals reporting or highlighting issues with systems or equipment.
* Support factory projects which involve IT
* Commissioning of desktop and laptop hardware
* Installing and testing operating systems and software applications
* Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software problems
* Telephone and face-to-face support.
Requirements:
* Good knowledge of MS 365 Environment Office applications.
* Ability to perform troubleshooting and resolution of problems in a fast moving, high pressure working environment.
* Be 'hands on' in performing tasks and not afraid to get dirty in executing actions in supporting the site in production processes.
* Be able to carry out tasks independently using own initiative when on shift.
* Ability to integrate quickly into the existing IT Team and become a key component in providing service levels required by the business.
