What You Will Do
 * You will be responsible for the development of concepts of operations for radar systems
 * You will be responsible for radar processing algorithm development
 * You will be responsible for radar software requirements development
 * You will be responsible for statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data
 * Analysis tool development in support of problem identification and resolution
 * You will collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solution
 * You will present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers
Qualifications You Must Have
 * Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM ) and a minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
 * An active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. are eligible for the required security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
 * Experience with design, development, and analysis of radar system and software architectures
 * Experience with signal processing techniques in complex propagation environments
 * Design experience in the following radar system areas; antenna, receiver/exciter, waveforms, digital beamforming, multi-sensor track management and data fusion, adaptive signal processing, clutter mitigation techniques, electronic attack and electronic protect, sensor resource management and mission planning
 * Requirements development experience, including use of DOORS
 * Experience with MATLAB/Python/C++
 * Experience with technical writing and oral presentations
 * Masters/PhD in a STEM field

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
