Cults Medical Group are looking for a full-time Medical Receptionist to join our supportive, friendly Reception Team.
Hours are 37.5 per week to be worked over 4 full days
Practice Opening hours are Monday - Friday 8am 6pm.
Salary - £25,350 rising to £27,163 per annum following a six month probationary period.
Eligibility to join NHS pension scheme.
Key Responsibilities
Welcoming patients in person and responding to telephone calls courteously and efficiently.
Booking, amending, and cancelling appointments using the clinical system.
Managing patient queries and signposting appropriately.
Handling correspondence, prescriptions, and general administrative duties.
Supporting clinicians and colleagues as part of a collaborative practice team.
Adhering to confidentiality, GDPR, and practice policies at all time.
About You
Previous experience in a patient/customer service role is desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Confident using computer systems.
Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
Commitment to patient care and confidentiality.
Reliable and flexibility to cover during periods of annual leave and sickness.
