This role is based with Parking Control Management in Slough.
Role
As a Sales and Account Manager you will play a key role in driving business growth by generating new leads, developing opportunities through proactive outreach, and presenting our services to prospective clients. The role involves regular engagement with clients through virtual and in-person meetings, site visits, and industry events, as well as creating high-quality sales proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing new business while maintaining accurate CRM records.
You will nurture and grow key accounts by building strong client relationships, addressing concerns through to resolution, and contributing to wider Group Business Development initiatives to expand and strengthen the existing portfolio.
This role has the option of being enrolled on to a Level 4 Sales Executive apprenticeship which offers structured training and on the job experience. You will be coached by leaders of the department who will challenge and mentor you to develop your sales, technical and communication skills. You will work with a team of highly skilled and collaborative colleagues and get the opportunity to increase your professional development whilst exceeding the demands of your clients and continuous improvement projects.
Responsibilities and Duties
To establish new business through lead generation and regular cold contact
To regularly attend virtual and in-person client meetings and site visits
To present our services to new clients
To attend trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
To provide timely updates to the CRM to capture all sales activity
To create quality sales proposals matching the requirements of our clients and regularly follow-up through to contract
To negotiate contracts and packages and close new business
To build a strong rapport with our key accounts to grow the existing portfolio
To see client concerns through to completion, including handling difficult conversations and innovative solutions
To drive forward Business Development initiatives
Who you are
Sales or Account Management experience is preferred, but not essential
Approach situations with an open and curious mind
Confident communicator
Ability to take on challenges with an eye for future opportunity
Ability to take complex problems, simplify them and thinking creatively to solve them

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependant on experience
Hours: 40 per week with 1 hour for lunch. Office hours are 9am - 5pm.
