Job Description
The key responsibilities as the Interim Stock Condition HHSRS Surveyor are as follows:

Undertake your inspections, investigations and/or meeting with enforcement bodies as required in our workstreams, to build good working relationships with contractors and address any contract issues/failings quickly and effectively and be a point of escalation for all front line staff if issues are not resolved in good time by your maintaining good working relationships with relevant teams internally
4. Inspect the Contract execution, ensuring full and complete compliance in accordance with the Regulations governing your workstream, and contract(s) based on KPI's
5. Responsible inspecting works, advising on issues, closing out actions on contract(s), including monitoring performance to ensure a high-quality service, that is on time, and to budget without exception
6. Monitor performance of the contractor, recording and reporting on performance
7. Carry out inspections and or surveys to manage contractors work to ensure client services, including compliance programmes, responsive repairs and planned maintenance are delivered on time and in budget and completed to the customer's satisfaction
8. Interrogate and approve any certificates provided by the contractors which are given in support of works undertaken
9. Work through the 29 HHSRS categories when inspecting properties
10. Potential to carry out DEA / EPC assessments if you have the accreditation's
11. Working to the new Decent Homes Standards
The Successful Applicant
The successful Interim Stock Condition HHSRS Surveyor will need to have:
12. Ability to undertake Stock Condition Surveys
13. Experience / Qualification to undertake Surveying duties
14. Ideally experience of undertaking HHSRS surveys
15. DEA accreditation ideally
16. Technical competence or training in the work streams you will be managing including knowledge of relevant legislation
17. Educated to relevant professional level for carrying out surveys as above, supported by competencies based on experience knowledge gained through relevant experience
18. Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel
19. The ability to get in and around North London as and when required to undertake surveys
20. Use of your own vehicle to travel to sites
