Overview
Clinical Fellow – Microbiology, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.
Full‑time, fixed‑term 12‑month post commencing August 2026 at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
Responsibilities
* Clinical advice and laboratory oversight.
* Report authorisation, diagnostic and antimicrobial advice.
* Stewardship and ward consultation.
* Teaching and training activities.
Qualifications
* Full registration with the GMC and a licence to practice.
* Qualification and experience in microbiology or a related laboratory discipline.
* Applicants who have not completed a UK foundation programme within 3.5 years of the advertised post start date may be required to submit a Certificate of Readiness to Enter Specialty Training (CREST). The form must be completed by a consultant who has worked with you for a minimum continuous period of three months whole‑time equivalent wholly within the 3.5 years prior to the advertised post start date.
