Sheridan Maine is delighted to partner with a growing, well-established accountancy practice in Surrey to recruit an experienced Tax Manager. As a Tax Manager, you will:
* Manage a substantial portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients.
* Lead the preparation and review of compliance work, including CT, personal tax, and VAT.
* Provide advisory support on tax planning and corporate transactions.
* Supervise, mentor, and review work of junior team members.
* Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and act as their main point of contact.
* Ensure all work is completed in line with technical, regulatory, and internal quality standards.
* Support the continued growth of the tax function through process improvement and client engagement.
The successful Tax Manager will have:
* ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent qualification.
* Proven experience managing a portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients.
* Strong technical knowledge in corporate, personal, and indirect tax.
* Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
* Commercial awareness and proactive approach to client service.
* Ability to handle multiple deadlines and prioritise workload effectively.
* A collaborative approach and strong interpersonal skills.
