Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Post Contract Delivery | Barrow-in-Furness
Location: Barrow-in-Furness (Full-time, Monday–Friday, with 3 days onsite per week)
Rate: £540 per day outside IR35
Duration: Ongoing
Contract Type: Freelance 6 month+ (likelihood of extensions)
Start Date: ASAP
A specialist consultancy is supporting a clean energy contractor on the delivery of a new steam generation facility in Barrow-in-Furness. They are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of post contract commercial delivery under NEC contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee post contract commercial activities
* Ensure compliance with NEC contract conditions
* Support cost control and project reporting
* Work onsite 3 days a week as part of a full-time role
Requirements:
* Proven experience with NEC post-contract delivery
* Strong commercial management and communication skills
* Ability to operate independently within a fast-paced environment
