Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and streamline all aspects of store operations at Karak Chaii. The Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the store, improving operational processes, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and has strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Store Operations Management: Oversee all day-to-day operations, ensuring the store is operating efficiently and that customers receive excellent service.
• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage the store team, delegating tasks, setting performance targets, and ensuring high team morale and engagement.
• Inventory and Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, manage orders, and ensure that inventory is well-maintained and stocked to meet customer demands while minimizing waste.
• Customer Service Excellence: Foster a customer-centric environment by resolving customer issues promptly, ensuring satisfaction, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Sales Growth: Implement strategies to drive store revenue, including optimizing product displays, managing promotions, and working closely with the marketing team to increase footfall.
• Financial Management: Manage and analyze the store's financial performance, including budgeting, controlling expenses, and preparing financial reports for upper management.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the store adheres to health, safety, and hygiene standards, conducting regular audits and training staff to maintain compliance with regulations.
• Supplier & Vendor Management: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and maintain strong relationships to negotiate favorable terms.
• Training & Development: Train and onboard new employees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development to enhance team skills and performance.
• Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement process improvements that streamline store operations, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on sales, staffing, and operational performance, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Proven experience in an operations or store management role, preferably in retail or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop staff.
• Proficiency in inventory management, sales analysis, and financial reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, with a focus on operational efficiency.
• Strong understanding of health and safety standards and compliance regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting priorities while maintaining a high level of organization and professionalism.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and build strong relationships with customers, staff, and suppliers.
• Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
