The Goods Inwards Quality Inspector plays a critical role in upholding quality standards by ensuring strict compliance with established company processes and procedures. This position is responsible for verifying that all incoming components and materials meet defined specifications and quality standards prior to being accepted into inventory. Operating within a dynamic and fast-paced production environment, the role demands a versatile individual with proven experience in quality control. Proficiency in conventional metrology techniques is essential to accurately assess the quality of both products and the associated documentation. First Article inspection - creation of reports Retention of inspection records Calibration - ensuring inspection equipment is calibrated as required Customer returns - notification of Quality Engineers MRR / CAR creation Maintaining records of inspection Liaison with Stores / Purchasing / Planning / Manufacturing Departments Proven experience in a quality inspection role within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment Sound knowledge of MS office experience SVQ3, HNC or Time-served apprenticeship, or equivalent in a Mechanical Engineering discipline UT/PT (SNT or PCN) qualification Co-ordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) experience DPC holds market leading positions globally and delivers performance-critical solutions across the oil & gas, power generation, marine, industrial, chemical, and general processing markets.
