The Role
You will be involved in all aspects of site investigation and geotechnical reporting, gaining hands:on experience both on site and in the office. Projects typically span residential, commercial and infrastructure developments, offering great variety and exposure early in your career.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with and supervising ground investigations
* Logging soil and rock in accordance with current standards
* Collecting and managing site data, including sampling and in:situ testing
* Supporting the production of factual and interpretative reports
* Developing an understanding of site geology and ground conditions
* Liaising with engineers, contractors and clients
Requirements
* Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering or a related field
* Strong interest in ground investigation and geotechnical work
* Good communication and report writing skills
* Full UK driving licence (or working towards)
* Enthusiastic, reliable and keen to learn
