The Role You will lead the wills, trusts and probate practice, managing a team of private client lawyers and support staff, overseeing complex estate planning, wealth structuring, tax planning and trust work for entrepreneurial and high-net-worth clients. You will run your own caseload of complex, high-value matters while also taking strategic responsibility for the department, business development, team development, client relationship management and contributing to the firm's wider private wealth strategy. The client base is UK and international, with a mix of entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses, retired professionals and HNW individuals. The work is sophisticated: complex family dynamics, cross-border wealth structuring, inheritance tax and trust planning, and estate administration with contentious risk. You will also be expected to drive growth, bringing in new clients, developing existing relationships and raising the profile of the practice in the Thames Valley and London markets.
