Role overview As an Import Coordinator, you will manage the end‑to‑end customs clearance process for shipments, ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant and that customers and hauliers are kept updated. Key responsibilities Submit customs entries efficiently and accurately using CDS. Review and maintain import documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, phytosanitary and POAO certificates), ensuring full compliance with HMRC requirements. Manage both personal and shared inboxes, tracking and responding to queries in a timely manner. Communicate clearly with Government authorities and third parties to resolve any issues. Track shipments and update customers and hauliers on progress and status. Act as a key point of contact for customer queries and status updates. Keep internal trackers and records accurate and up to date. Liaise with hauliers, customs agents, suppliers and the internal team to resolve delays or compliance issues.
