Contributes to the delivery of all aspects of the Food & Beverage operation, events, and functions.
Maximizes revenue through casual / ad-hoc sales.
Supports the Food & Beverage Manager to drive all elements of the Food & Beverage area to the highest level, ensuring that Hoebridge is recognized as the premier family-centric golf and leisure destination in the area.
MEASUREMENT OF SUCCESS:
The Food & Beverage Assistant will be evaluated based on:
* Operating profit from F&B, events, and functions
* Annual staff engagement levels
* Customer loyalty via Net Promoter Score (NPS)
* Performance reviews from Food & Beverage Manager and General Manager, operational feedback, and personal objectives
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Maintain positive relationships with members and guests, providing a warm welcome and high service standards.
* Greet customers, present menus, inform about specials, and answer queries about food, beverages, and services.
* Assist in the care and maintenance of assets, inventory, and resources.
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures at all times.
* Maintain 100% compliance with the BGL Academy standards.
* Adhere to all BGL policies and procedures, including attendance, dress code, and appearance standards.
* Review daily bookings, reservations, and function sheets.
* Upsell menu items such as appetizers, desserts, drinks, and wines.
* Process orders accurately and serve accordingly, ensuring presentation and quality standards.
* Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to weights and measures regulations.
* Follow sanitation and cleaning procedures diligently.
* Complete all side work and shift-specific opening and closing tasks.
* Foster strong teamwork and collaboration within the Food & Beverage team.
