HSQE Coordinator
Aureos are seeking an HSQE Coordinator to join our office in Bathgate. The role will report to the lead HSQE Manager for our transmission department and work to support with business unit requirements.
This role requires the candidate to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the business. They will need to maintain two-way communication with other coordinators and be willing to support them if there is a need.
There are opportunities for this role to attend site alongside the transmission HSQE team to help further their understanding of the business but primarily it will be administrative tasks that are completed.
This is an entry level position with excellent training and progression opportunities for the right person looking to develop within the HSQE team.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
Primary duties, responsibilities and accountabilities
* Support the Lead HSQE Manager with any business requirements.
* Support the Lead HSQE Manager and HSQE Team.
* issue weekly HSQEW bulletin packs.
* Compiling HSQE reports for varying management levels.
* Collation of business HSQE KPI’s.
* Compile minutes from meetings.
* Investigations – supporting live investigations as instructed (this may require visiting site locations).
* Manage action logs / weekly status reports.
* Coordinate the management of open notification status regarding all event reporting.
* First point of contact for the team regarding system queries – basic user function queries.
* Administration tasks.
Secondary duties, responsibilities and accountabilities
* Develop any Client HSQE reports as required.
* Work closely with HSQE and Quality/Assurance teams to process relevant documentation in adherence to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 45003 if required.
* Participate in internal/external audits including coordinating/initiating necessary activities for preparation/follow up.
* Participate in internal working groups where necessary.
* Supporting the completion of Client PQQ’s (pre-qualification questionnaires) in a timely manner in order to gain supply chain approval.
* Other ad hoc administrative duties that may be required for this role.
* Escalate any issues.
Qualifications and Training
Essential
* Willing to undertake Apprenticeship in Occupational Health & Safety
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft (particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Excellent English skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable but not essential
* A-Level educated
* NEBOSH Construction Level 3 – Level 6 (or equivalent)
