Job Description:
Reporting to the Lighting and Video Manager, the Warehouse Assistant will work in our Manchester warehouse preparing, maintaining, and managing the delivery of lighting and video systems for the busy hire department. Please note that the site will be moving to Rochdale.

Your day will look like this:
* Develop safe working practices according to H&S policies
* Assist the asset management team with stock location/requests
* Prepare, supervise, assemble, and de-prep lighting, video, rigging, and mains distribution systems
* Assist in loading and tipping courier/transport vehicles
* Ensure equipment is delivered within timelines with proper packaging and documentation
* Report any anomalies, lost, stolen, or damaged equipment immediately to managers
* Maintain the warehouse in a clean, organized, and tidy condition
* Identify and develop improvements to performance and processes through Continuous Improvement initiatives
* Assist or cover for other roles within the operation as needed, with full training/support provided
* Perform any other reasonable ad-hoc requests as required by your manager
Essential skills / experience:
* Good administration skills and an excellent telephone manner
* Flexible and adaptable with the ability to learn quickly
* Competent with computer use
* Initiative and ability to work unsupervised, recognizing when to ask questions
* Experience in a similar role is advantageous
* Good organizational skills
Level of education:
* Educated to GCSE level, with A-C or 4-9 in English and Maths (or equivalent)
Work Experience:
* At least 1 year of experience in the Audio/Lighting/Video industry
* Right to work and remain in the UK
* Flexibility to work unsociable hours as required
