Overview
We are looking for a Senior Life Practitioner to join our team at Bridge House, Spalding, Lincolnshire. As a Senior Life Practitioner you will provide essential support to individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs, help them live fulfilling, independent lives by assisting with daily activities and accompanying them on community trips.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide essential support to individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs.
* Assist with daily activities and promote independence.
* Accompany individuals on trips into the community.
* Support Life Practitioners and report into the Registered Manager.
Qualifications
* A genuine passion for care and motivation to contribute to others' progression.
* A strong team player with resilience and confidence to ask for support when needed.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Computer literacy.
* Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
* Full UK driver licence or at least two years driving experience in the UK.
Driving and Transport
We provide a company vehicle that can be used to transport the people we support to community activities such as shopping, meals, appointments and outings.
Pay
Starting rates: Level 1 - £13.99, Level 2 - £14.31, Level 3 - £15.19. You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills through our competency framework, unlocking pathways to increased hourly rates.
