Job Title: Systems Engineer – Government & Defence Systems
Location: Redhill, Surrey
The OpportunityThis is a critical hire into a growing engineering function supporting secure UK government and defence programmes where delivery pressure is real and timelines matter.
The business operates at the intersection of satellite communications, systems integration and mission critical infrastructure, supporting operations across land, sea and air. With continued demand from government clients and expanding project pipelines, they require an engineer who can take ownership of delivery, not just contribute to it.
This is not a maintenance role. It is about designing and delivering systems that directly support operational capability in high consequence environments.
The Impact You Will Have
* Own the design and configuration of secure government systems from concept through to delivery
* Drive project execution in line with strict defence specifications and timelines
* Act as the technical interface between engineering and project delivery teams
* Evaluate and introduce new technologies into live operational environments
* Ensure systems are robust, compliant and ready for deployment in mission critical settings
What Success Looks Like
* Proven ability to deliver complex systems within defence or secure environments
* Comfortable operating with autonomy and accountability under delivery pressure
* Strong engineering judgement with the confidence to challenge and improve designs
* Experience across systems integration, testing and deployment
* Eligible for or holding DV clearance
