Are you a Process Control Engineer looking to work with cutting‑edge automation, digitalisation and advanced control technologies within a global manufacturing environment? This technically varied role is part of a specialist R&D Process Control team. You will develop, deploy and support advanced process control and inspection systems used across international manufacturing operations. Your work will span from concept to implementation, ensuring product quality, efficiency and safety.
The role offers exposure to SCADA development, PLC programming and advanced control techniques, including PID, AI and machine learning. You will collaborate closely with R&D and production teams, delivering practical engineering solutions and continuously improving existing systems. Responsibilities
* Design, develop and implement industrial process control systems.
* Develop and program SCADA systems and PLCs.
* Apply advanced control techniques from PID to AI‑based solutions.
* Develop and support inspection and measurement systems.
* Provide on‑site and remote technical support, including system upgrades.
* Travel overseas occasionally.
Qualifications
* 2:1 degree or above in an engineering‑related discipline.
* Experience in industrial process control environments.
* Knowledge of electrical and electronic design.
* Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
* Confident communicator and team player.
* Well‑organised with good project and time‑management skills.
