Role Overview: As a Primary TA, you will work closely with teachers to assist in delivering engaging lessons, provide additional support to pupils, and help maintain a positive learning environment. Responsibilities as a Primary TA: Support classroom teaching through small group or 1:1 work. Assist with lesson preparation and classroom management. Encourage pupil engagement and support emotional well-being. Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. Work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents/carers. Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant: Previous experience as a Primary Teaching Assistant or in a school setting. A genuine passion for working with children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years (with no unexplained gaps). Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
