What we'll need you to bring
Education:
1. Diploma/SQA National Certificate in Pharmacy Services or equivalent to enable registration as a pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Professional:
2. Registered pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Other Knowledge:
3. Undertake revalidation required by General Pharmaceutical Council and maintain a portfolio of personal and professional development.
Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
It would be great if you also have
4. Continuing professional development as detailed by the General Pharmaceutical Council
5. Carry out training on aseptic and cytotoxic drugre construction/manipulations
6. Experience in dispensing discharge, OPD and in-patient prescriptions
7. Experience in providing a ward or department stock top up
8. Understanding of hospital pharmacy services
9. Computer skills
10. Keyboard skills
11. Good communication skills both verbal and written
12. Ability to organise and prioritise work
13. Team player
