Senior Support Worker

Shift Pattern: 16>24 Hour (including Sleep-in) on a one on two off or two on four off basis.
Day-in-the-life (illustrative):
* Leading shifts and deputising for the Registered Manager where required
* Ensuring the team are up to date with mandatory learning and assisting with individual development
* Communicating with the on-site team and implementing individual care plans
* Maintaining accurate written records to enable monitoring and evaluation
* Contributing to team meetings and staff development
* Providing support and care to the young people in our services
* Encouraging engagement with education or current schooling
* Traveling with our young people to and from School or College
* Preparing meals and maintaining the home environment
* Organising and facilitating social activities

Requirements
* Must hold a full UK driving licence
* Must have the desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent Children & Young People workforce
* 12 months senior experience in a Residential setting is highly desirable, but applications from those at the start of their journey are encouraged
* DBS and reference checks will be undertaken in line with government regulations and safer recruitment practices
