Faculty of Science Faculty Professional Services Head of School PA- School of Chemistry, Pharmacy and Pharmacology Ref: SC4843 Starting salary from £26,338 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £29,959 per annum. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of School PA to undertake secretarial and administrative duties to support the Head of School for Chemistry, Pharmacy and Pharmacology and wider School delivering a strong customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. You will provide efficient, pro-active and high-quality customer support and assist the Head of School by undertaking a number of secretarial and administrative duties including drafting reports, taking minutes, arranging travel, organising meetings, answering queries and diary management. You will also assist in the procurement of equipment, monitor and maintain finances where required and support new starters. You will have a good standard of secondary education or equivalent experience in a similar role. Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills are essential as is the ability to manage a varied workload in a high paced environment. Previous experience in procurement processes, budget management and/or updating websites and social media would be advantageous. This full-time post is available on an indefinite basis.
