Position Overview
We are currently looking for a full‑time Optometrist for our Thurrock Warehouse. Responsibilities
* Diagnosing sight problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness or eye diseases.
* Providing treatment such as contact lenses or glasses.
* Informing patients and explaining how to take care of their eyes; educating on contact lens cleaning and wear.
* Liaising with other medical practitioners and sharing care of patients with chronic ophthalmic conditions.
* Undertaking continuing education and training.
* Managing staff, including dispensing opticians and clerical staff.
* Administering, organising and planning development of the practice.
* Liaising with sales representatives from vision‑care product suppliers.
* Providing prompt and courteous service to members, employees and vendors at all times.
Qualifications
* Hold an Optometry degree approved by the GOC.
* Service oriented – experienced in going the extra mile.
* Energetic and familiar with working in a fast‑paced environment.
