This is an urgent temporary role for around 3-4 months with an immediate start. Based in Castleford, this is a full time position supporting the Payroll Manager with a range of payroll functions. You need previous experience in payroll for this role. You will support across multiple payrolls for large employee numbers (around 3000) whilst the firm transition the current payroll process. You will be involved with the full payroll cycle, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and delivering a seamless payroll experience. You will maintain accurate records and resolve any payroll-related queries.
Process monthly payroll for large volume staff numbers across multiple individual payroll runs
Maintain and update payroll records
Respond to employee payroll queries
Inputting data
Experience in payroll role essential
Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and best practices
Proficiency in payroll software Sage 50
Helpful if processed payroll with high volume staff numbers but not essential
