Our client has a permanent, part-time vacancy for a Practice Manager to handle a diverse and challenging workload to support the delivery of legal services.
The role requires 22 – 25 hours per week and comes with hybrid working.
Duties may include but not be limited to:
* management of the back office;
* recruitment of staff;
* advice on regulatory compliance including AML, SRA, SAR’s and full CLC compliance;
* organisation of the firm’s practising certificates;
* human resources management;
* attending partners meetings;
* Continuing development and training across the practice
* developing organisational and performance systems and processes and procedures;
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to find solutions to complex issues will therefore be essential. This is a hands-on role suited to a dedicated professional who thrives under pressure and would like to become an integral part of a practices continued success.
Applicants should ideally have:
* previous relevant experience within the legal environment
* A comprehensive understanding of Solicitor Regulatory Authority (SRA) and CLC compliance
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to adhere to and manage deadlines with minimal supervision
* Strong IT skills
