Job Description
1. Building and Managing Partner Networks:
o Identify, evaluate, and onboard new strategic business/ lead generation partners. Negotiate partnership terms and agreements.
o Cultivate long-term relationships with existing partners to maximize collaboration and profitability.
o Develop joint go-to-market strategies with partners.
o Monitor partner performance and identify areas for improvement or new opportunities.
2. Driving new business Growth:
o Create and execute business development strategies with partners to drive new customer acquisition.
o Develop and deliver compelling value propositions to potential clients through marketing and market knowledge
o Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a strong focus on new business opportunities.
3. Relationship Management:
o Foster trust-based relationships with key decision-makers, and influencers within partner organizations.
o Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
4. Reporting & Analytics:
o Regularly report on partner network health, new business opportunities, and growth metrics.
o Provide insights into front book/ new sales growth performance, tracking KPIs, and adjusting strategies as needed.
Qualifications
1. Industry Knowledge:
o Strong understanding of the energy sector (renewables, utilities, energy transition, etc.).
o Familiarity with energy technologies, grid systems, and emerging trends like smart grids, storage solutions, or EV charging infrastructure.
o Knowledge of energy policies, regulations, and market dynamics.
Essential:
1. Experience:
o Proven experience in business development, partner management, or sales within the energy sector.
o Track record of successfully building and managing partner networks, including identifying and securing new strategic relationships.
o Experience with sales growth strategies, lead generation, sales funnels, and market expansion.
2. Skills:
o Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
o Strategic thinker with the ability to build and execute long-term business plans.
o Results-driven with a proven ability to meet or exceed growth targets.
3. Technical Acumen:
o Familiarity with CRM software. (current Hubspot with a view to a salesforce integration)
o Strong excel and report writing skills.
4. Travel & Flexibility:
o Willingness to travel for meetings, conferences, and networking events as required.
