Role Title: Service Support – Social Care (Non-Qualified)
Role Purpose
To provide frontline operational support to vulnerable adults with complex needs, ensuring their safety, dignity, and wellbeing at all times. Staffing levels are required to be maintained to ensure the safe support of adults with complex needs, and this role plays a key part in delivering consistent, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
* Support vulnerable adults in day-to-day living, promoting independence and choice while safeguarding their welfare.
* Work as part of a team to maintain appropriate staffing levels and ensure safe, continuous service delivery.
* Assist with personal care, daily routines, and social activities as required, in line with individual care and support plans.
* Provide emotional support and encouragement to service users, respecting their rights, preferences, and cultural differences.
* Monitor and report changes in individuals' needs or behaviours to senior staff promptly.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to effective communication within the team.
* Follow organisational policies, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety standards at all times.
* Participate in team meetings, training, and supervision to support ongoing professional development.
