:
1. That all equipment is maintained in a safe and reliable condition
2. Carry out any mechanical and/or electrical and/or setting work within factory (within the scope of competence) including any work as may be required in any unit
3. To assist in any training of other Production Technicians and to attend any training courses necessary to improve skill level
4. Ensure safe working practices at all times and adhere to any department rules and regulations
5. Liaise with Management of any occurrence or foreseeable occurrence likely to cause a breakdown
6. To set equipment to required standard to acquire optimum conditions to achieve quality standards
7. To ensure wastage of material is kept to a minimum
8. To ensure that all relevant procedures are carried out in accordance with company conformance to ISO 9001
9. To change over equipment for various production runs.
10. Ensure that all statistic and record sheets are accurate filled in and kept up-to-date.
11. To be aware of reject production high wastage and process loss
12. To ensure compliance with all Company rules and regulations, and also maintain a high standard of housekeeping and the workplace is kept clean and tidy
13. To ensure manufacturing adheres to and conforms with the required technical and quality specifications in line with the Company’s ISO 9001 quality systems.
14. Support lean manufacturing programme in conjunction with PPI continuous improvement team.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
15. Numeracy, Literacy & PC literacy skills
16. NVQ level 2 equivalent qualification in processing and shown experience in a similar role
