My client is a leading global Risk Engineering company. Due to continued expansion, they have a vacancy for a Thermographic Consultant to join their team. Please note you do not need to have experience in this industry as full training will be given. The successful Thermographic Consultant will be based from home and will travel to customer sites throughout the UK and overseas conducting site surveys and report findings in a timely manner. Please note you must be flexible as you will travel extensively and stay away from home regularly. Candidates living in or close to the following locations are of particular interest: Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Darlington, Leeds, York, Hull, Sheffield, Liverpool, Manchester, Nottingham, Lincoln, Birmingham, Derby, Peterborough, Northampton, Reading, Swindon, Andover.

Thermographic Consultant Responsibilities:
* Travel to customer sites throughout the UK and overseas; survey the clients’ electrical, mechanical and process systems using an Infrared camera and other condition monitoring tools.
* Provide feedback, advice and support on any recommendations made in the form of an Infrared Survey Report.
Thermographic Consultant Requirements:
* Must hold a minimum of HNC qualification in Electrical engineering.
* Strong electrical engineering knowledge with the ability to read and interpret electrical engineering schematics and diagrams.
* High degree of self-management and motivation, conscientious, and able to work effectively, efficiently, independently and within a team environment.
* Apply technical knowledge to provide electrical/mechanical or other technical troubleshooting on client’s equipment surveyed.
* Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communications skills. Able to easily discuss recommendations or issues at all organisation levels from site maintenance technicians up to Risk Managers.
* IT literate.
* Flexible approach to travel and staying away from home.
