As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom to maintain continuity of learning when teachers are absent. You’ll play a vital role in keeping students engaged, motivated and on track, becoming a positive role model and a familiar face in the school. What youll be doing: Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Create a positive, inclusive and purposeful learning environment Support students to stay focused and achieve their best Liaise with teaching staff and report on lesson outcomes Adapt confidently to different year groups and classroom settings What were looking for: A confident communicator with strong classroom presence Experience working with children or young people (education, youth work, coaching or similar) The ability to think on your feet and stay calm under pressure A genuine passion for education and student development GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (essential) A degree or teaching-related qualification (desirable but not essential) Ready to take the next steps?
